Whhat is Synthroid T4

Synthroid T4 is the first synthetic thyroid compound that was developed in late1950's. Synthroid T4 is FDA approved and accepted worldwide in clinical medicine, bodybuilding, and other sports. In clinical medicine, Synthroid T4 is the most prescribed medication for treating thyroid hormones insufficiency, called hypothyroidism. Athletes and bodybuilders widely use T4 for its ability to significantly boost metabolic rate and initiate lipolysis.

Thyroid Physiology 

Here's Synthroid (t4) mechanism of action and how does it affect thyroid function, step by step:

1. Hypothalamus releases thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH);
2. Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) stimulates the pituitary gland to release thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH);
3. TSH stimulates the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones T4 and T3.
