Testosterone Cypionate is one of the longest testosterone esters used by athletes for significant gains in muscle mass and strength during a cycle. In the body, it acts like the natural hormone testosterone, that is, it is responsible for numerous of the physical and emotional qualities of a man, in particular, muscle growth, increased libido, and coarsening of the voice. It works by storing more nitrogen in the muscles, which makes muscle proteins more efficient. It is now very widespread and is most often used in combination cycles for gaining muscle mass.

Its half-life is 15 to 16 days, which is why it can cause water retention. Another effect is aromatization, which is the conversion to estrogens, which can lead to some feminine traits such as gynecomastia, water retention, female-type fat deposition, or decreased sex drive and testicular atrophy.
